Amazon planning 8.9" Kindle Fire?

After recently announcing their 7" custom Android-powered tablet, the Kindle Fire, Amazon is rumoured to be looking at launching an 8.9" version of the device next year.

This isn't all that surprising, given that the company will be making its money off of value-added services, and catering to all corners of the tablet market, from those looking for (just) pocketable devices, to those wanting something a bit bigger, is one of the best ways to get as many people into the Fire-fold.

The current rumours are pointing to an 8.9" version, but don't be surprised if a 9.7 or 10.1" versions crop up in its place/alongside it.
