7 in 10 small businesses use smartphones

According to research carried out by O2, 7/10 of their small business customers use smartphones like an iPhone or Blackberry to help them trade.

With the uptick in use of Facebook and Twitter in helping workers interact with customers on a more engaging level, devices that aid this are on the upper.

O2 Head of Small Business Marketing, Simon Devonshire, commented, “By enabling their staff to be able to work even when they are out of the office, business owners are reaping the benefits of a more productive and in-touch work force.”
