Gmail out of beta

Finally Google has announced that Gmail has been released from the shackles of the Beta tag it's been carrying for the past 5 years or so.

This comes in the wake of Google's push (with its new paid-for Apps) to go for the enterprise sector who have an aversion to software which isn't done yet. So they've dropped the Beta tag on Gmail to go after businesses and their IT budgets.

Still, Gmail is free for consumers and we thank them for *finishing* it.
