Logitech releasing trackpad iPhone app

Logitech are gearing up to launch a new iPhone and iPod Touch (plus, we guess the iPad when it arrives) application that will let you turn your hipster touchscreen device into a wireless trackpad for any computer.

The application works over WiFi, meaning you can control your computer from anywhere around your home, which would be ideal for when on the sofa with a media center or laptop hooked up to the TV.

You can also type from the iPhone as well, so no needing to have a wireless keyboard hooked up as well. We've not seen the app in action yet, so no idea as to how intuitive or easy it is to use, but the company say you can grab it from the App Store, and the computer drivers from their site, now.
