Olympus launches new TOUGH Mju cameras

Olympus is one of the few camera manufacturers that people trust when it comes to consumer ruggedised cameras, and they've now just launched a few new additions to that line-up.

The Mju TOUGH-6020 (£319.99) can be sunk in water to 5m, dropped from a 1.5m height and taken into temperatures of -10C, all whilst looks pretty fetching in Steel Blue, Midnight Black, Cosmic Green and Candy Pink colours.

The Mju TOUGH-8010 (£399.99, pictured) steps it up a little notch though, allowing you to submerge it to a depth of 10m, drop it from 2m (that's head height for someone 6'5"), can also be used in -10C temperatures, but is also crushproof to 1000kg and scratchproof.

Both pack 14MP sensors, and allow picture and HD video recording in the aforementioned conditions and are available from March.
