Sony Ericsson launches eco Windows Phone

Sony Ericsson has just announced a new handset to add to its growing Greenheart portfolio of eco devices; the Aspen, which packs Windows Mobile 6.5.3 (the first device we've seen rocking that version), a full QWERTY keyboard and touch controls.

The other specs are usual for a mid-range smartphone like this; 3.2MP camera (althogh being an SE, it should be better than other higher-pixel machines), Exchange ActiveSync support, a-GPS, WiFi, 2.4" screen as well as Sony Ericsson's Panels interface over WinMo that they brought to the fore on the Xperia X1.

The device should be hitting stores in Q2 on HSPA and EDGE networks in the UK in "Iconic Black" and "White Silver" colours.
