Tube Exits hands on

If you've ever been to or lived in London, you'll know that the tube is integral to how the city works, and at rush hour it becomes like every other public transport system; congested.

So when you're in a rush in the morning, you want to be able to step straight out of your carriage and straight out the exit. Well, "There's an app for that".

Say you're cutting it fine for a meeting, and the closest stop is notoriously clogged Covent Garden, you just tap where you came from on the Picadilly Line, and set the destination as Covent Garden. The app will then tell you which carriage to take (and in the example of going from Cockfosters to Covent Garden, you'll need the second carriage from the front).

Even if the app only saves you a few seconds, over the course of a year, those could be important.

Having lived on the periphery of the London Transport Network for a few years, I'm aware of a handful of routes through London, and can say that in the examples I've tested (based on personal knowledge), it works.

Now, whether it works for all routes and stations or not would be practically impossible to test, but for £1.79 it might just make a difference to your commute.
